Who We Are

San Gabriel Valley Water and Power is a provider of renewable resources.

Our projects provide “plug in” renewable energy and water solutions for municipalities. Our private-public partnerships enable municipal renewable resource projects to move forward, which helps reduce the investment risk to residents and taxpayers. Most importantly, our projects allow cities and municipalities to comply with clean energy requirements. Our projects use innovative technology and to deliver cost-effective, carbon neutral projects to homes, neighborhoods and communities.

What We Do

San Gabriel Valley Water and Power develops and manages renewable resource projects.

Our power generation solutions are designed to “plug in” to existing public utilities infrastructure, providing an additional energy source. SGVWP helps implement Community Choice programs that allows for cities and municipalities to purchase and/or generate energy for residents and businesses within their areas.

Our leadership team has been strategically selected for their knowledge, expertise and renewable resource experience.

William Barkett

Under the guidance of Chairman, William Barkett, SGVWP Leadership team is providing energy and water resources to municipalities that need renewable energy solutions. Mr. Barkett has over two decades of global renewable energy experience in consulting and development of renewable energy generation, energy storage solutions and carbon credit management. Mr. Barkett graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science Degree of combined science and earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Pepperdine School of Law. He is an active philanthropist focusing his efforts on children’s charities and education.

Wade Hall

Wade Hall, Managing Member, is a land planning expert. He has managed large development projects from acquisition, entitlement, development to sale. Mr. Hall has experience in international investing and project financing. While CEO of McMillin Capital, Mr. Hall was responsible for directing all aspects of McMillin Capital’s growth and operations. Their investment portfolio focused on real estate activities including commercial, homebuilding, land entitlement and land development projects.

Robert Anselmo

Robert Anselmo, Managing Member is an experienced in commercial and residential real estate development executive. He also has experience as a transactional attorney specializing in real estate and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Anselmo has vast experience in the global wireless technology industry. Mr. Anselmo received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nevada and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Hastings College of the Law.

Anthony Barkett

Anthony Barkett joined SGVWP in 2017 and is a Managing Partner focused on day-to-day operations related to financing and entitlements. Previously, Anthony was an associate at Colony Capital, Inc. (NYSE: CLNY), a leading global real estate and investment management firm with $44 billion in assets under management. Anthony’s time at Colony allowed him to work on a diverse portfolio of many global real estate development projects in residential, commercial and industrial. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
